Description

This Ron Mann masterpiece is perfectly placed high on Gentry Hill. The 5-sun-filled acres with 360 deg panoramas of all of Monterey Bay across to Santa Cruz as well as verdant Jacks Peak. It feels like you are sitting on top of the world. Pure privacy. The living areas are sublime, filled with exquisite finishes and details of skilled artisans. The entire layout is designed for relaxation. Truly unique design, 3 giant rectangular steel roofs float above the concrete buildings, resting on 26 ft tall Douglas Fir columns. Artist had created an unusual residence to serve the wants and needs of that particular client. Exquisit.

Facing South and the land and Jacks Peak Park is a 1/2 acre enclosed courtyard that terraces down to the lawn and beyond to a raised pool and the Cantina outdoor kitchen and bar
The 18 ft ceilings are magnified by 12 ft glass panels that slide into the walls, providing an incomparable indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Every building opens to the 1/2 acre pavilion; the perfect locale to gather while never losing sight of the panoramic views. Hard to believe this unique estate is just minutes to Monterey Airport, Pebble Beach and Carmel.
Tres Paraguas are three giant rectangular roofs of Corrugated Corten Steel roofs mounted on 30 x 30 square columns of Douglas Fir Columns 26 feet high, stilted – standing free – of the five buildings below -quite a site.
The buildings are modern Pueblas, self-roofed, heavily stuccoed in three earth tones with 18 foot walls and giant 12 foot sliding glass walls that pocket into end walls, allowing the buildings to open into the courtyards and terraces as pavilions.
Created and designed by Ron Mann, the entire layout is designed for relaxed time-off living, for total seclusion and restoration, and every kind of world-class entertaining. It is like a private luxury hotel.
